My daughter this past week went out to pick strawberries with friends at one of the many farms in South Jersey that allow customers to do-it-themselves, save money and have the satisfaction of obtaining fruits and vegetables that are as fresh as possible without expending all the effort and time by growing them yourself.
Throughout the summer we will be enjoying fresh blueberries, melons, corn, beans, peppers, tomatoes and more. Whether picking them ourselves, or getting them just-picked at a roadside stand, you can't beat the freshness and tastes of Jersey Grown fruits and vegetables.
South Jersey is a great place to be in the summer for fresh produce, outdoor recreation and, of course, the beach.
