With the huge promotion being undertaken by Microsoft for the launching of their new Windows Vista and Office 2007, here are links to a few of my previous blog articles in which I outlined some of the new versions and features.
These new releases are a critical sales effort by Microsoft, involving it's two biggest money makers, and they are hoping it will carry them through the next couple or more years.
I've been using pre-releases of both products and believe their have some good technology enhancements and benefits from improved interfaces. However, they are not incorporating any new application, just newly redesigned 'models'.

Employee Purchase Program (EPP) - "The Employee Purchase program is available to employees of companies that hold Microsoft® licenses. All software purchased from this site is for personal use only."
The purpose is to allow employess working for organizations with Microsoft volume-licensing agreements to work at home using the same tools available at work.
